Journal of Economic Geology is devoted to all aspects of research related to Economic Geology, Petrology, Geochemical Exploration, Geophysical Exploration and Environmental Geology. The Journal will be devoted primarily to research papers but short communications relating to new developments of broad interest, book reviews and technical reports of meetings will also be considered.
Journal of Economic Geology as Quaterly in the field of economic geology and related sciences is published in Persian with English extended abstract.
The aims of journal include:
- The publication of Scientific- Research papers;
- Development of research and promotion of knowledge geology and mining exploration;
- Dissemination of latest scientific achievements of universities and academic institutions.
The first issue was published in 2009 and this journal has received the following licenses:
- License of publication No. 88/7931 in date 09/12/2009 from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidence;
- License of Scientific – Research with the number 4143 in 31/07/2010 from Commission of Scientific Publications.
- This journal is indexed in Scopus.
